Format:Paperback
This book offered complex life lessons in a simple, easy to understand way. The author, Barbara McAdoo,
presents her argument on steps for good decision making in a manner that transcends age and learning barriers. The book blends
reality and fiction to illustrate different life and business lessons, namely how to approach decision-making in a group setting.
I would recommend this book to young people entering the business world as well as veterans in their industry. I admired the
author's ability to take a complex task, such as decision-making, and simplify it so that any and everyone can understand.
Definitely worth a read!

Great Book!, July 6, 2006
I couldn't put this book down! Life Lessons In The Jungle is a "must" read for anyone trying to climb the corporate ladder
and also for anyone self-employed. The lessons learnt in this book apply to situations and decisions all of us face on a daily
basis! A terrific book, one that I would highly recommend to all my friends and business associates!
Life Lessons from the Jungle January 16, 2006
While there are many books dealing with the art of decision making, "Elephant" is so graphically written that most anyone
can relate to the animal types used to tell the story and provide the lessons. The steps are well illustrated and logical,
and the story line keeps you engaged. Clear gnd direct. All seminars should be this much fun! |
So true!, January 14, 2006
This book is so true! I liked the characters, and even though they argued
a lot, I have to admit I recognized them in the people I work with. A great story, with lots of good lessons and not just
how to solve problems, either. And as promised a fast read. I saw somewhere (her website?) that there's more coming. I hope
so, I can't wait!

A must read for anyone who wants to get ahead , November 5, 2005
This entertaining story brings clarity to difficult work situations -- something we all encounter at some
point. We all know the characters, and now we can recognize them. Barb McAdoo has a keen wit and a nice writing style. I found
this book very helpful and find myself referring back to it often.
