Tinker and Company is truly a work of love. When Tinker was a puppy, and we found her as a rescue alongside the road, we fell in love with her and presented her to my in-laws. Tinker, with a great deal of love and care, overcame parvovirus and lived a long and happy life.

My mother-in-law asked me to write a story about Tinker...this is the first in the series.

The story...

It’s Tinker’s birthday, and she turns one year old today. Our story begins with Tinker arriving at the home of friends Puppy Girl, Bear, and Harry. What a surprise…she’s driving a shiny new car! Helping the three dogs escape their fenced-in yard, Tinker and her noisy friends make their way through the bustling streets of Our Town in search of their first big adventure. You never know what these furry pals will do next as you follow their zany antics. One thing is certain; it will be funny enough to make you laugh out loud with glee as they deal with one mishap after another.

Stratford W Kenny, decorated WW II veteran, retired New York City police officer, and painter, is greatly loved and missed by his family and large circle of friends. Adorning the walls of many, his art exemplifies his love of life and beauty. While Strat’s remains lay in Arlington Cemetery, his spirit roams free, bringing inspiration and encouragement to those who knew him best. The illustrations in “Tinker and Company,” honor the beautiful puppy rescued, nurtured, and spoiled, who rather than succumb to parvovirus, grew and thrived. Through them, along with the stories of Tinker’s adventures, she and Strat live on.
